The Adventures of Shorty Barlow

This week's Carnival of Space is awesome. You get space stuff, bad puns (read: great puns), and 30's pulp detective fiction all rolled into one.

Best one yet. Visit the Sorting Out Science blog today.

This is Carina

So, this is another picture. Her name is Carina (歌鈴奈 - カリナ), and we think she's cute.

And here we go

Here's some photos of the kid and the mum. Jun was amazing.

純子は本当に頑張ってた。彼女はすごかった。

Winnie the Pooh!

Doesn't look like she just went through labour, does she?

Just pretending to be quiet to trick you people into thinking she's a good kid.

10:00am: And we're off!
13:17pm: And the baby has been born! Carina, baby girl, 3.3kg, loud, noisy, and looks like Winston Churchill. I'll post a picture when I can take one.

Edited because I spelled the kids name wrong.

Jun getting ready?

Looks like Jun is going to drop soon. I'll let you guys know what's going on before we go to the Gyno clinic (where she's having the baby - it's like a hotel with a birthing room).

I'm really behind in terms of trends, but the Opera browser is awesome

It's faster than Firefox by a long shot. I have 6 tabs open, and I'm using the same amount of memory that Firefox uses to keep one open. While my laptop is sleek, sexy, and has an almost unlimited battery life, it has about the same amount of RAM as a digital watch.

If your computer is slow, go read about Opera now.
